Great news in the hood of nutrition and kids cook wear: family-run hospitality workwear brand Tilit, known for producing super stylish chef wear, has partnered up with NGO Edible Schoolyard NYC on their latest kids aprons launch. ESNYC is a great non-governmental organisation that partners up with public schools to transform the hearts, minds, and eating habits of young New Yorkers.
The duo has got together to create the Schoolyard Apron for kids, Tilit’s very first venture into kids products, that is available in four colours, with a matching apron for adults, to benefit ESNYC. How great is this combo: great mini chef wear to introduce your little ones into pizza baking on Sundays, and giving back to help kids and teenagers learn about nutrition and healthy eating. It is just perfect!
As parents, Tilit co-founders Jenny Goodman and Alex McCrery understand how important learning about food and nutrition from an early age is for a child’s health, well-being and future. They hope that the apron will encourage more parents and children everywhere to cook healthy meals together.
The aprons have just launched couple of days ago on April 23rd and $10 from each apron sale will go directly to the ESNYC organization. Ages 2-6 are $40, 7-12 are $45 and matching adult sets are $65.
The aprons range from white, black, turquoise and purple.
