After conquering the Grammys with an iconic performance featuring gold goddess bikinis and waist-grazing extensions, Beyoncé hits again in a completely different look, next to her daughter Blue Ivy, frontline courtside in New Orleans. Spotted at the NBA All Star game with her family, queen Bey switched to a casual look composed of ripped jeans and a plain white T-shirt, walking in open stilettos and la piece de resistance – a hibiscus print Gucci kimono loosely wrapped around her growing baby bump and a set of cascading waves that were finished with a halo of second-day flyaways.
Not to mention her nude make-up with softly-defined lashes that only proves what pregnancy glow can do to your skin and overall looks without the need of any heavy make-up artworks.
While Beyoncé was channeling Mother Earth, her daughter, Blue Ivy, found her own way to sport this season’s hottest item: denim. And of course the needle doesn’t fall far from the three. Blue accessorised her denim jacket with one cute and expensive statement Gucci dress, that costs approximatively as much as …our house rent probably. Her hair was neatly divided down the middle and woven into swingy braided pigtails, with ribbons to match her green dress – a school-yard look that never fails for her.
Here is Blue Ivy’s Gucci dress:
And considering that Beyoncé’s dramatic full-lenght fur-trimmed Gucci kimono costs $21,945, Blue might even feel underdressed…
But hey, looking at these two right here, we might as well approve that mommy-and-me style is not so much about twinning, but about rocking your personal style at its best.
