It has been a little over a week since Chrissy Teigen and John Legend welcomed baby girl Luna Simone, and the media is already going wild and relentless with criticism at her address. Or better said, her Twitter followers are. Who, if you ask me, I don`t even know why they keep bothering to follow her account.
Over the weekend she was photographed going out to dinner with John and already received a slew of judgmental comments like “I guess people don’t believe in staying in a couple of weeks to a month and healing damn” and “She needs to stop all this attention seeking” and “She’s hitting the streets already???? Damn these so called celebrities want to show off so bad after giving birth. Spend bonding time with your baby and not let the nanny or babysitter raise them!” Chrissy tweeted out screenshots with the comments on her account.
Even before giving birth, Chrissy has been dealing with critics even by posting a simple pic of Fruity Pebbles and Captain Crunch cereal!!
Luckily she kept her sense of humor through it all.
How crazy is this? Now really. Why oh why do some people get this uncontrolable urge to shout out mean comments towards people they 1. don`t even KNOW personally and 2. do NOTHING wrong ?! Since when has eating Captain Crunch cereal become such a biiiiig mistake and a danger for the baby and a risk to DIE? Since when is going out for dinner with your husband while having a child at home wrong? So what if their baby was 1 week and yours 2 years old when you first went out to get some air? Since when is taking time for yourself without the baby (regardless the age) so wrong?
And this does not happen to famous people like her only. It happens to so many of us, and the worst part is – the ones that give all this unsolicited “advice” are women and moms themselves!
I guess we should just let Chrissy be hilarious funny real Chrissy and mind our own Cereal mix.
