Introduced in 2003, the Stokke strollers have changed the world of children’s functional but fashionable cars. I mean, strollers. Above all others, the Stokke® Xplory® is the trademark of innovation and versatility, and its iconic design is still relevant today as it was back then. Every inch of the stroller is designed with the parents-children relationship in mind: it is all created to bring you and your baby closer for bonding and connection.
“We know that a close bond between parent and child is crucial for the child’s development and its encouragement to explore the world around. Having loved ones in sight and within reach enables both parent and child to explore and grow together – be it in the snug interiors of their home or the great outdoors,” said James McArdle, Managing Director USA and Canada at Stokke. “We have worked hard to incorporate this concept into every detail of the Xplory’s redesign, which continues to offer families the incredible functionality they love with with wonderful new upgrades.”
Its form follows function- it’s made to bring your baby closer for connection
The new pram encourages and allows for easy eye contact especially in those first few months when everything is new for both the parents and the babies. A newborn baby produces a high amount of so-called ‘mirror neurons’. They are considered the cornerstones of human empathy, language and other vital processes – as long as they get stimulated. The best way to stimulate the child’s mirror neurons is through eye contact.
The Stokke® Xplory® has three stages: the newborn carry cot, and after a few months, the parent facing and forward facing position. The result is you being able to push the baby around all day, everywhere, even in the tightest corners due to its effortless manoeuvering, allowing you to explore the world together without a worry.
And the best part about it? It is adjustable to your height, so you can be Dutch tall or normal height, the Stokke stroller is going to adapt to each and every parent.
