Motherhood is a Wild Ride, and one of the main things we learn along the way is how to basically do everything one handed while holding a coffee with the other one. We learn that we often need a break while at the same time it’s really hard to let go. We learn a lot of balance techniques such as lifting things with your toes, cooking with your left hand, dipping toast in the butter instead of spreading, singing lullabies while you’re half asleep, or washing your hair in less than 4 minutes. It takes a lot of precision and balance, patience and resilience, and even though you might (definitely) spill some coffee on your brand new white tank top, you’re definitely going to repeat the action the next day at the playground, because the mess is not going anywhere (wink). And that’s because we want to do everything with our kids, we love spending time together, and we love all that mess. It becomes part of us, and we are defined by motherhood.

Gorgeous model and mom of two, Isabel Guyt, hitting the beach with her two sons, just before the sun goes down in the sea, at Scheveningen. Surrounded by white sand, wild rocks and dreamy dunes, the setting was just the perfect spot to let the kids roam wild and free, run from the waves, take a short evening dip in the sea and play with their mom. Sometimes the most unique moments happen unexpectedly- and so was the case this time around too.
